Make sure that you have enabled the main, universe, restricted, and multiverse repositories in your software sources.
To so that click on System &gt;&gt; Administration &gt;&gt; Software Sources.. And then click on the Ubuntu Software tab.
Also you may want to add these repositories to your lists. Click on the Third Party Software tab and add these url&#039;s:
http://download.tuxfamily.org/3v1deb
http://archive.canonical.com/ubuntu

After you do that run this command in a terminal-
sudo apt-get update
then run -
sudo apt-get install libgdk-pixbuf2
That should do it!!
