Inside Secrets Of Link Building

For years now Google has dominated the market in search engine results, and many key players have found that many of the methods are less that fair when it comes to gaining prominent ranking by Google. The Google PageRank is by far the most sought after portion of Google’s ranking results, and without high PR your site is a big nobody as far as Google’s SERPs are concerned!

Many websites and SEO developers have spent a collective lifetime learning how to understand and use the Google PR algorithm to their advantage, and many of those sites used as test samples have met the ugly death of the Google Sandbox. If incoming links were not that important then why would there be so many websites selling information and services to help Webmaster and site owners build quality incoming links?

The answer is simple this… Incoming links are the most important tool you can use to push your site to the top of the SERPs! There are some basic guild lines you should follow when setting up your incoming links, but one you have established some relevant inbound links with the natural anchor text and relevant keywords to your site, the rest is all down hill from there. Here are some tips to keep your incoming links top quality.

Inbound anchor text varies – inbound link count increases gradually
Site links-out to only reputable pages – links are rarely reciprocal

Be sure to research your competition on Google and the other major search engines with a backlinks analyzer to see where their links are coming from, and how they have used relevant keywords and phrases in their title and anchor text. If you find your competitor has an incoming link from a site with a high PageRank it may be a good idea to contact the site with a polite email asking for a link to your site too. Explain what your site is about and how your content would be useful and relevant to their visitors. If your site is well developed, easy to navigate with lots of useful content, chances are that you get an incoming link from them, but if they don’t link back to you don’t get discouraged. Look for other sites that would be a good source of incoming links and contact them.

Above all remember to keep your incoming links looking natural with keyword rich anchor and title text and avoid artificial linking methods.
