After years of surfing the Internet, I found that most of the really cool and informative sites out there didn’t rank high enough in the search engines to be visible to the people that would find value and interest in them, and being a webmaster this included more than half of my new customers sites (located in Northern Michigan).
Most of my customers are Mom & Pop small business owners who have a website but are not marketing them. As the Internet becomes more and more the premiere tool for advertising and promotion website owners who are not equipped with an SEO budget and do not even know what the term SEO means will fall deeper and deeper into the lower ranks of any such search engines they may be indexed in, and therefore will never be seen by the potential visitors who need their goods and services and they will eventually fall off of the internet ranks into that invisable Internet “Nowhere!”
